My latest endeavour is working on a music video for my TANGO called “Lychee Martini”.

Living with a chronic illness has forced me to really look at my priorities in life and has inspired me to work on my bucket list. First, I’ve been learning Spanish. This has been really rewarding and I am thrilled to have put together a Latin-influenced band “Los Osos” where most of the songs are sung in Spanish. Learning songs is a great way to learn a language. You can look at my video page to see the live performance of “Nosotros” from a ‘Jazz in the Hall’ concert.

NOW it’s time to take steps towards my crazy dream of singing with puppets! This relates to the theme of the song ‘Lychee Martini’: to take a break from the mundane parts of life to DREAM. Some of the lyrics are: “Life is not what it seems. Take some time to dream. What is your fantasy? Why not make it a reality? There is no time to lose. You just have to choose.”
